Uber CEO on the fight in California: ‘We can’t go out and hire 50,000 people overnight’

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the company is not capable of employing all of its drivers in California, as it was ordered to do by a state judge. Khosrowshahi said in a wide-ranging podcast interview that the company wasn’t responsible for income inequality in the US and would explore other models, like franchising.
